Qualifications

• Active California PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions.
• Monitor resident progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist.
• Document treatments and progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate residents and families about therapy programs and safety.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, federal, and professional standards.
