Job summary

Touchpoints Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the Hartford team. The PTA will administer physical therapy modalities under supervision, assist patients to achieve maximum performance and functional level, and participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.

The successful candidate will have an AA degree from an APTA-approved program, hold current PTA certification, and maintain BCLS (CPR) certification; additional language skills are

Qualifications

• AA degree from an American Physical Therapy Association–approved program.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant certification/licensure.
• BCLS (CPR) certification required.
• Additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy modalities under supervision of the staff PT.
• Assist patients to reach maximum performance and functioning.
• Participate in department operations and performance improvement activities.
