Job summary

LTC Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Harwich, MA location. This full-time role involves working closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on care to residents, helping them build strength, improve movement, and achieve greater independence.

You will assist with treatments, guide mobility activities, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a post-acute and long-term care setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• New graduate PTAs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, balance, gait, transfer, and mobility activities.
• Carry out established treatment plans based on rehabilitation goals.
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce exercises and safe mobility techniques with residents and caregivers.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals.
