Job summary

Alton Memorial Hospital in Illinois is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join The Human Motion Institute. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient caseloads, including orthopedic, neurological, and general medicine patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• PTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan as developed by the licensed physical therapist.
• Collaborates with the licensed physical therapist on an agreed frequency to reassess the plan of care.
• Documents patient progress in daily notes and weekly notes, and contributes to discharge planning.
• Assists with guidance for clinical fieldwork students under supervision.
• Reports on interventions and patient progress during meetings and contributes to the screening and evaluation process.
