Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 2-year Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Must have taken and passed the NPTE or be eligible as a new graduate to take it.
• Must possess a professional license to practice in your state or be eligible to receive one.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents' occupational therapy needs and matches services.
• Meets with residents regularly per treatment schedule and tracks progress.
• Reports progress to management and family members and discusses outcomes.
• Performs repeated evaluations to measure progress per professional guidelines.
