Job summary

Prima CARE PC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to assess residents’ physical therapy needs and coordinate services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The TA will participate in regular meetings and document progress.

Qualified graduates with NPTE eligibility or licensure and a state PTA license are required. The role may be full-time or part-time and includes maintaining licensure through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have NPTE eligibility or passed and be eligible to apply for state licensure.
• Full Time/Part Time position as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assesses residents' physical therapy needs and matches services.
• Meets with residents per treatment program; evaluates and maintains records under supervision of PT.
• Keeps current with professional literature and attends seminars to maintain licensure.
