Job summary

Largo Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting, with opportunities for professional growth and a flexible schedule.

You will work with a care team to assess residents, implement rehab plans, document progress, and support families in understanding therapy goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PTA license and state registration.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and rehabilitation potential.
• Administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Document patient condition and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.

PRN Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) Needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
