Job summary

Largo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking PRN Physical Therapist Assistants to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct patient care and help residents maintain independence in a long-term care setting.

Applicants must have a valid PTA license and registration. Experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred, and flexible, on-call scheduling helps you work close to home.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
• Document and record the patients' condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
