Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services is hiring a Floating Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time work at multiple facilities in Tallahassee and surrounding areas. You will provide PT-assisted treatments under licensed supervision, support clinical evaluation processes, and help coordinate patient care across settings.

Applicants should have an Associate degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program and a current PTA license in Florida, with at least one year in SNF settings and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Minimum SNF experience and willingness to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist according to state guidelines.
• Identify suitable patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referrals.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality outcomes and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are current and properly obtained.
