Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support residents’ recovery and independence in our Cincinnati, OH location. You will work closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized rehabilitation services on a PRN basis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Ohio.
• Outpatient experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain, improve strength, and reduce deformity.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with functional mobility and activity improvement; observe, document, and report progress.
• Fit and train residents in using orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust treatment programs.
• Support clerical functions such as inventory, supply orders, and documentation.
