Job summary

Empower Recovery at Arvin Post Acute in Arvin, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will follow a Physical Therapist's plan, directly care for patients, and help improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with nursing and therapy staff, and upholding safety and infection control standards in a fast-paced SNF environment. California PTA licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active California PTA license.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in SNF or rehabilitation setting preferred.

About the Role:

As a PTA, you will work hands‑on with patients to implement physical therapy plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists. You'll play a key role in helping patients recover from illness, surgery, or injury, promoting mobility, function, and quality of life.
