Job summary

Elara Caring in Lake Charles, LA is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Earn a $3,000 sign-on bonus and join a team focused on mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include delivering care per treatment plan, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and safely using assistive devices. Must have PTA license for Louisiana, graduation from approved program, and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

What is Required?

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations
