Elara Caring is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a compassionate home care team. You will provide therapy under the supervising Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility and independence in their homes.

Responsibilities include patient progress monitoring, caregiver education, and safe device training, all while adhering to physician orders and state guidelines. A driving route to patient homes is required.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred

Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress. Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics. Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines.

What is Required?

• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations
