Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required.
• BLS certification preferred (within 1 month).
• Experience preferred but open to qualified candidates with education and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities through assessments of multiple systems.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on goals and tolerance.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to update plans of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to restore mobility and independence.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, plans, recovery expectations and home exercise programs.
• Supervise PTAs, aides, and students per regulatory standards.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and assist with obtaining devices.
• Document progress and changes for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote PT services through education and outreach.
