FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Alpena, MI is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient team. You will collaborate with an experienced PT team and work with a diverse patient population from infants to the elderly using advanced rehabilitation technology.

We offer competitive pay of $50,000-$68,000+ with performance bonuses and sign-on/relocation options, plus generous benefits and relocation assistance. Relocation expenses are considered.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Interest in orthopedic, balance, vestibular, and neurological rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists
• Implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic, vestibular, neurological, and geriatric patients
• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation technology to enhance treatment outcomes
• Document patient care using Prompt EMR and AI-assisted tools
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Collaborate with therapists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences
• Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives, including fall-prevention programs
