Thunder Bay Fyzical Therapy & Balance Center in Alpena, MI is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. You will work one-on-one with patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Michigan PTA license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional activities.
• Provide balance, orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Encouraging and motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment.
