Job summary

Lindsay Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Physical Therapist with resident-related activities and direct resident care.

You will document accurately, maintain infection control, and participate in care conferences. The role requires educating residents and families, coordinating with the team, and assisting in equipment and mobility planning under California regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Document timely, accurate, compliant records per facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings as needed.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans to the team and families.
