Job summary

Lindsay Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Physical Therapist with resident care and documentation. The role requires collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and families to ensure goals and progress are clearly communicated.

The PTA must hold an active license in California, complete required training, and assist in learning programs for staff while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all treatment activities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident-focused care as directed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and participate in care conferences.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the PT, nursing staff, and families.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise and safety techniques.
