Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, strengthening, mobility, and functional activities.
• Implement treatment plans and modalities such as heat, ice, TENS, and ultrasound as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on prescribed exercises and proper use of therapy equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and prepare treatment areas.
