Protouch Staffing in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support high-quality, individualized patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The role involves implementing treatment plans, facilitating mobility and function, and contributing to the recovery process in an outpatient, in-person setting. Visa sponsorship is available for this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state licensure or registration as a PTA.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience with manual therapy, trigger point therapy, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the licensed Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
• Operate ultrasound and laser therapy devices as appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers about procedures and home exercises.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, mobility, and functional independence.
