Job summary

Innovative Healthcare Centers is seeking a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Baltimore team. You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, helping patients recover, improve mobility, and return to daily activities safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active Maryland PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional training activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
• Educate patients on exercises, recovery expectations, and injury prevention.
• Ensure a positive, professional, and engaging patient experience.
