Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in New York required.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities.
• Strong communication and instructional abilities.
• Ability to delegate appropriate care to non-licensed staff and mentor/train them.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care under supervising PT.
• Follows Plan of Care and state guidelines.
• Instructs and counsels patients on exercises.
• Documents in EMR and records daily notes under supervision.
• Educates patients on equipment use and exercise routines.
• Maintains confidentiality and clinic safety.
