Job summary

Peak Performance Sports and Physical Therapy in Havelock, NC is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant. You will provide patient-centered care under clinician leadership, with a focus on mentorship, clinical growth, and collaborative practice across local clinics.

Qualifications

Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

Delivers patient care according to standards, physician orders, and care plan.
Assists in patient assessment and tracks progress within scope of practice.
Collaborates with evaluating therapists to support treatment goals and outcomes.
Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers according to the established plan of care.
Supports discharge planning and goal reassessment with therapist.
Communicates effectively with care team to optimize patient outcomes.
Applies appropriate clinical techniques, modalities, and equipment.
Travels to local clinics as needed.
