Job summary

You’ll help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed or eligible for Maryland PTA licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• New graduates welcome; compensation based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals.
• Assist gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs and the healthcare team.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout rehabilitation.
