Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in Mitchellville, Maryland. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for Maryland licensure as a PTA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals.
• Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs and other health-team members.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
