Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Kensington, Maryland. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 40 hours per week and no weekend rotations, providing weekday flexibility while delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities tailored to patient needs.
• Assist with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation and celebrate meaningful progress.
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient-centered care.
