Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PT treatments to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas PTA license, have SNF/long-term care exposure, and are versed in PT practices. We welcome new graduates and offer competitive compensation and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of physical therapy practices
• Experience with Net Health EHR preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor responses and adjust interventions with interdisciplinary team
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and regulations
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab
