Job summary

The Park in Plano, TX, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life in a skilled nursing setting. We value compassionate care, strong teamwork, and accurate documentation.

A Texas PTA license is required; SNF experience is preferred, and familiarity with Net Health is a plus. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license or eligibility to practice
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred
• Good knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed PTA treatments to relieve pain and improve function
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Relay information to the Physical Therapist when requesting service
• Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient responses and adapt approaches with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy and home programs
• Ensure timely documentation per company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings
