Job summary

Synchrony Rehab in Marion, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support therapy services under a Physical Therapist. The PTA will implement designed treatment plans and monitor patient progress in an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification
• Current CPR certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of patients’ responses to therapy and report progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and home progress strategies
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Other duties as assigned
