Job summary

Rochester Residence and Care Center seeks a detail-oriented Physical Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will assist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and support therapy sessions for residents.

The ideal candidate is a PA-licensed PTA, ready for a full-time schedule (36 hours per week) and committed to delivering high-quality care in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Pennsylvania.
• Full-time availability (36 hours per week).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Evaluate patient progress and report results to the team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
• Participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies for improvement.
• Provide patient education and training to promote independence and community integration.
