Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a PTA, you will work closely with our physical therapy staff to provide high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and evaluating patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Evaluate patient progress and report results to the physical therapy team
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
• Participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
• Provide patient education and training to promote independent living and community integration

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (new graduates welcome to apply!)
• Ability to work a full-time schedule (36 hours per week)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
