Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Carmichael, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a role offering $45–$48/hour with relocation assistance and sign-on incentives. New graduates welcome; experienced PTAs encouraged to apply.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to implement treatment plans, assist with gait, balance, and functional activities, document progress, and collaborate with the care team in a supportive, California-regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PTA in California.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient's goals.
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate physical therapy interventions.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Assist with mobility, gait, balance, strength, and endurance training.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes to supervising PT.
• Document treatments and patient progress accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, safety, and progress.
• Collaborate with PTs, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Help create an encouraging environment where patients feel supported and motivated.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with California regulations and facility policies.
