Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Texas.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and follow treatment plan defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to supervising PT and coordinates care with the healthcare team.
• Educates patient, family, and care team on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings and with patients of all backgrounds.
