Job summary

Choice Health at Home is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Sherman, TX for a full-time role. You will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative care, implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients on exercises and device use.

The PTA collaborates with the healthcare team to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function, contributing to patients' daily independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program.
• State licensure exam required for PTA practice.
• Current PTA license is required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report progress.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and use of assistive devices.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and sanitize equipment.
