Choice Health At Home is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative care in a home health setting in Palestine, TX. The PTA implements plans, guides exercises, and adapts activities to optimize recovery and daily functioning, while communicating with patients and families for coordinated care.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program and state licensure with preference for home health experience and CPR

Qualificações

• Complete an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and obtain state licensure.
• Experience assisting licensed PTs in rehab for injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist therapists in executing individualized treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient responses and report progress.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and device use to prevent injury.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment area and sanitize equipment.
