Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team in Greene County, Ohio. Working under a licensed PT, you will deliver individualized therapy in patients' homes, focusing on mobility and independence while maintaining flexible scheduling.

The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care, collaborative interdisciplinary teamwork, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• CPR and/or BLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT per plan of care.
• Assist with exercises, gait training, balance, transfers and mobility techniques.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to supervising PT and care team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies and home health regulations.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate PTA to join our growing home health team. Working under the supervision of a PT, you will provide individualized therapy services that help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and safely regain independence in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments according to the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed PT
• Assists patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfer training and mobility techniques
• Monitors patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising PT and care team
• Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall preventions, and safe mobility techniques.
• Completes accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech-language therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintains compliance with agency policies and state and federal home health regulations

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Home health experience is preferred, but not required
