Job summary

Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Worcester. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to a general rehab caseload.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in PTA and current state licensure; newly licensed therapists are welcome. Responsibilities include assisting with assessments, documentation, and patient education, with weekly pay up to $40/hour.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
• Newly licensed therapists welcome; CEUs per licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing, collecting assessment data, and direct treatment under a Physical Therapist.
• Participate in clinical program development and implementation.
• Consult with and train patients, residents, and caregivers.
• Monitor efficiencies with supervisor.
• Document activities in the clinical documentation system on time.
• Demonstrate ability for continuous learning to stay current.
