Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our therapy services and patient care goals. The PTA will assist the licensed PT, document treatments, and participate in ongoing care and rehabilitation planning with the team.

The role emphasizes professional communication with patients and families, adherence to regulatory standards, and active participation in clinical meetings. Competitive FT pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
