PRN is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to work with our team of physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services in a supportive clinic environment.

The PTA will implement therapeutic exercises, assist with treatments, and ensure patients receive optimal care to aid recovery and rehabilitation, in a setting with mentorship and professional development.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in assisting with therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills.
• Prior experience as PTA in a clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Communicate with PTs on patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Ensure caseload attendance compliance.
• Aid in administering therapeutic interventions such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Set up and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
• Provide support during patient evaluations and assessments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home care routines.
• Collaborate with PTs and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
