Job summary

PRO-PT Physical Therapy in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our newest Bakersfield, CA clinic. You will help patients regain movement and confidence under a supervising PT with hands-on, evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate or upcoming graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current or pending California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain before providing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their goals.
• Monitor patient progress, communicate updates to the supervising PT, and motivate patients throughout their recovery.
• Collaborate with PTs and fellow team members to deliver the Second-to-None experience PRO-PT is known for.
• Create lasting patient connections while maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Expand your expertise through continuing education, mentorship, and team collaboration.
