Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans by guiding residents through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Contributes to the evaluation process by performing objective tests under the supervision of the PT.
• Assists with ordering and maintaining supplies as needed.
• Alerts Therapist to resident progress and any need to update the treatment plan.
• Communicates a resident's functional status to residents, caregivers, and professionals.
• Educate residents and their families on exercises, safety, and home care techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress and changes in condition.
