Job summary

Lakeway Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Benton, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our nursing team. The role offers day shifts and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Salary ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, based on experience, with a benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), PTO from day one, and access to ongoing training. On-demand pay and additional pay options are available.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification in Kentucky.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle physical aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
