Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time role supports resident mobility, reduces pain, and promotes wellness under minimal supervision in a geriatric setting.

The PTA must hold a current state PTA license, enjoy independent work, and collaborate with therapists to implement functional activities that improve residents’ daily experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Support residents through functional activities for daily living.
