Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The PTA will assist the PT with therapies aimed at improving mobility and wellness while supporting independence in residents.

A current state license is required; SNF experience is preferred but not essential, and ability to work independently within supervision is valued. PRN hours may be available.

Qualifications

• License in the state of practice is required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
• Geriatric population experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent disability and promote overall wellness in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Support treatment plans and participate in functional activities to aid resident recovery.
