Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. You’ll support therapists in creating and applying treatment plans to help patients regain movement and reduce pain, while documenting progress and educating families on exercises.

Preferred experience includes geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings, or home care, with knowledge of physiology and inpatient therapy procedures. Flexible work hours are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, preferably in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings or home care.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
