Career Links in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based interventions to maximize residents' mobility, function, and independence in a supportive, interdisciplinary setting.

You will implement plans, guide residents through therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in care planning.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (CAPTE-accredited).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to document progress and communicate resident status effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document residents' progress toward treatment goals.
• Communicate with therapy, nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding resident status.
• Ensure documentation meets facility, state, federal, and payer requirements.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning with the rehab team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on safety and home exercise programs.
• Support rehabilitation goals within the facility with professionalism.
