Qualifications

• Licensed in the states where services are being provided as a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under supervision.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist and patients regarding progress and problems.
• Participate in Plan of Care Meetings when asked.
• Record treatment notes and provide input for discharge summaries.
• Instruct families in maintenance programs under supervision.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Achieve or exceed minimum productivity standards.
• Act as a clinical trainer for Physical Therapist Assistant programs.
