Norview Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing in Norfolk, VA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This full-time position supports residents and patients with compassionate, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

The PTA will administer treatments, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized plans of care, ensuring timely, high-quality

Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in VA.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed.
• Collaborate with the IDT to implement treatment plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
