Job summary

Renewal Rehab in Traverse City, MI is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role in our SNF and long-term care settings. You will provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT and help identify suitable patients for therapy.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Current license as PTA in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying appropriate patients for therapy and coordinate with the PT for evaluation and referral.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all physician orders are obtained and up to date.
