Job summary

Hudsonview Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the Licensed Physical Therapist by implementing treatment plans and aiding residents to improve independence and function.

You will deliver modalities and exercises, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab team. A PTA graduate and state licensure are required; we offer a supportive, team-focused environment with flexible schedule options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed as required by the State.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident's individualized treatment plan as defined by the primary Physical Therapist.
• Provides individualized physical therapy treatments including modalities and exercises.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when tests and evaluations are performed.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment sessions with the rehab team.
• Maintains accurate and timely resident documentation.
